Training & Certification

Licensed, certified, and prepared for your property — before their first shift.

Royale Security Company's training infrastructure has five components, applied to every guard before deployment and verified throughout their assignment.

  • State licensing and certification — Pre-assignment coursework, on-the-job training, annual in-service, plus FDNY credentials where applicable.

  • Cornerstone Training Program — Proprietary curriculum built on three pillars: de-escalation, hospitality, and emergency protocols.

  • Site-specific onboarding — Every guard learns your property before their first shift.

  • Field oversight — Unannounced inspections and digital checkpoint verification.

  • Documented proof — Training records and certifications available to clients on request.

Certification & Licensing

Every Royale Security Company guard meets and exceeds New York State Division of Licensing Services requirements before deployment.

  • State pre-assignment coursework — Mandatory foundational training completed before any guard is licensed.

  • On-the-job training — Required hours completed and documented during the first weeks of service.

  • Annual in-service education — Ongoing recertification that keeps every guard current with state requirements.

  • FDNY credentials where applicable — Fire Life Safety Directors (FLSD) for high-rise and commercial properties; full-spectrum Fire Guard certifications (F01–F08) for places of assembly, construction sites, shelters, and hazardous materials.

Licensing establishes the baseline. Cornerstone is what we build on top of it.

The Cornerstone Training Program

The Cornerstone Training Program is Royale Security Company's proprietary curriculum, built on three pillars. Every guard and concierge completes it before they are eligible for deployment.

  • Advanced De-escalation — Verbal techniques, conflict reduction, and incident management designed to resolve situations before they escalate.

  • High-End Hospitality — Tenant and guest interaction standards aligned with Class A commercial, residential, and luxury hospitality environments.

  • Site-Specific Emergency Protocols — Property-specific evacuation, lockdown, medical response, and coordination procedures tailored to each client.

Site-Specific Onboarding

Before any Royale Security Company guard works your property, they complete onboarding tailored to your building. They learn your access points, tenant protocols, building systems, emergency egress routes, and on-site procedures — guided by your management team and our field supervisor.

Your guards don't arrive on day one and start learning. They arrive prepared.

 Accountability After Deployment

Training is verified continuously, not assumed at deployment.

  • Unannounced field supervisor inspections — Guards are audited on appearance, protocol compliance, and professionalism in real time.

  • Digital checkpoint verification — Patrols are tracked and logged automatically.

  • Real-time incident reporting — Property managers receive documented reports without having to call.

Training Documentation & Proof

Clients receive certificates of insurance before the first day of service. Training records, certification copies, and completion verification are available on request — for any guard, at any time.
